Dear Confluence Academy-South City Families,
South City Academy is a PreK-8 school that offers students opportunities to be involved in our community. We offer after school tutoring and a multitude of clubs and sports. Our school celebrates diversity, while promoting respect, responsibility, readiness and safety. Each year, we strive for EXCELLENCE and collectively South City Academy has become a culture of teaching and learning.
During the 2024-2025 school year, the staff of South City Academy developed a vision of excellent instruction. The vision of excellent instruction focuses on student ownership and high-quality instructional practices. Aligning our vision of excellent instruction to our school mission yields academic achievement for all students.
Staff at South City Academy set high expectations, incorporate engaging strategies, and require students to think critically. Here, teaching and learning center around grade level expectations and targeted differentiation to ensure all of our students succeed. We are committed to continuous learning, respect for others, innovation, and authenticity.
With each new school year, we strengthen and develop new collaborative partnerships with our families and community. Together, we share the responsibility of our students’ academic success.
