Dear Confluence Academy-South City Families,
South City Academy is a PreK-8 public charter school that encourages students to be involved in our community. We offer a multitude of clubs and sports that allow our students to grow and learn. Our school celebrates diversity, while promoting respect, responsibility, readiness, and safety.
This school year promises to be one of growth, connection, and joyful learning—and we can't wait to share it with you. Our theme this year is "Stronger Together: A Year of Growth, Joy, and Learning!"
South City Academy's vision of excellent instruction focuses on student ownership and high-quality instructional practices. Aligning our vision of excellent instruction to our school mission yields academic achievement for all students.
Staff at South City Academy set high expectations, incorporate engaging strategies, and require students to think critically. Here, teaching and learning center around grade level expectations and targeted differentiation to ensure all of our students succeed. We are committed to continuous learning, respect for others, innovation, and authenticity.
With each new school year, we strengthen and develop new collaborative partnerships with our families and community. Together, we share the responsibility of our students’ academic success.
